Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American actress and model who also works as a television hostess as well as a comedian. After 80 straight days in hospital, from the point of death to a long journey to recovery she finally made it home but her life forever changed. Angelica was, following a full one-year dialysis treatment and a half-year of dialysis, was now set to undergo the biggest surgery of all - a kidney replacement. The kidney she would receive from none other than her mother. Angelica Hale was able to undergo a renal transplantation with her mother on the 13th of September 2013.
